Indigenous Ugandan Toothbrush

Did you know in many countries the majority of rural population can not afford to buy a toothbrush or toothpaste? Many Ugandans use the stems from palm tree leaves to brush their teeth. When you tear the stem, it forms tiny "bristles", creating a mini indigenous toothbrush.
